It arranges courses or resources by concerning subject matter topics or other classification criteria. To begin to add a new category on the left panel add the details for the category such as first giving the title then providing the code, then if you want to keep that categories parents leave the drop down blank or if you want the category to be child select the category from the drop down and finally give their description for it and click on the add now button.
